Join Forces With Forgotten Felines of Forsyth!
If you are you managing a colony of feral cats anywhere in the Winston-Salem area and performing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), you can help your cats and feral cats throughout the area by registering your colony in the Forsyth County Feral Cat Database. This database a tracking tool to help you keep up with the cats in the colony you are managing. This database also provides Forgotten Felines of Forsyth with a general idea of the number of feral cats in our community and how many are TNR'd.
Please note that registering your colony on this website is NOT a request for assistance. If you need assistance with TNR, please visit the Forgotten Felines of Forsyth webiste at www.forgottenfelinesofforsyth.org. You must go to the "How to Get Help" section of that website and in item number 1 click on the link that says "Feral Cat Reporting Form". Complete the form and return it to Forgotten Felines of Forsyth per the instructions provided with the form. If you are planning to request assistance for TNR from Forgotten Felines of Forsyth, please wait until you have been given a colony name then return to register the colony here.
The database is a sponsored by Forgotten Felines of Forsyth which is dedicated to ensuring that feral cats are treated with compassion and respect and that caretakers are provided with the services they need. By joining the Database, you'll supply us with valuable information on the impact of TNR and help us gain more resources for feral cats in our area. You'll also make it much easier for us to find you if one of your eartipped felines ever winds up in a local shelter. Registration of your colony at the Database is also a critical step in making your colony a recognized colony under our pilot TNR program with Forsyth Animal Control.
